Dorina – Celine & Claire – 10F & 10

We did it!

Yes, after 2 years of breastfeeding we have finally weaned!

My body is mine again. I’m not restricted to non wired bras. And most of all, I love being able to go to my wardrobe & pick out a brand new bra to wear!

Today I reached for Celine by Dorina.

For those not familiar with this brand, here is an excerpt from my previous post about them:

“Dorina is a label I came across when looking for affordable basics that are manufactured by people trying to make an effort to be more sustainable.

In 2020 they are introducing the Dorina ECO Line. The lingerie will have fabrics made with recycled PET products, certified organic cotton & Bluesign lace.”

Their packaging is now 100% sustainable too.

The Celine bra is from their Curves collection, which appear to have a wider selection of band sizes (AU 10-20) although the choice in cup sizes is limited from D-F. This bra is definitely an affordable option for everyday wear, if you fall between their size range.

The two sectioned cups are non padded & lightly moulded. They feature a scalloped lace edging, lace overlay on the cups & centre gore, and a smooth band.

For me personally, moulded cups aren’t the greatest. Since I’ve stopped breastfeeding, my bust lacks volume & I find the loose skin spills out of the centre of the bra when I’m going about my day. This is not a design fault, rather it is simply a design for busts with more fullness on top.

While I did have to readjust myself a few times throughout the day, Celine was still a pleasant bra to wear.

I’ve paired it with the Claire brazilian brief, which is a little snug, I’d recommend sizing up.
