Capriosca Swimwear – Underwire Bikini Top & High Waist – 12F & 12

Let’s Party!

Last year I had the privilege to walk that catwalk at the CurvyAU Body Lovin’ Pool Party. One of the items I modelled was this wonderful swimsuit, which was gifted to me after the event.

This is the first time I’ve ever worn Capriosca & thought I’d share a few of my thought about the brand & the pieces I tried.

The Capriosca Swimwear range was created to give curvy, fuller figured people swimsuits that are affordable & accommodating to their needs. The sell sizes AU 10 – 30 over a range of different designs & swim options.

From simple one pieces & bikini sets to swim dresses, mastectomy swim suits & long sleeved options – they’ve got all bases covered!

I was styled in a bikini set of their choice & the Hawaii Blue print is what I got. There are plenty of other fun prints, patterns & bold colours to choose from too, if you want to step away from the traditional black swimsuits.

This underwired bikini is made quite similarly to a bra. It has two section moulded cups, adjustable shoulder straps & fastens at the back. The back closure is one plastic clip that hooks onto sewn sections on the band. These sections allow you to bring the band size in to sit a little firmer if desired.

The suit fits quite true to size. I found it was a bit large in the band for me, but as I normally wear a 10 band anyway, that was to be expected. The cups offer a great level of support & good coverage.

The high waisted bottoms are delightful to wear & actually sit on my waist! The sizing seemed to run small with these though, please keep that in mind. I am in the 12, which definitely feels like a size 10.

All in all, it has been a great introduction to the brand. I love their size diversity & the range of products available. Their website is easy to navigate & filter by size, and mostly I love seeing that the models are actually fuller figured & display a range of body types!

Well done.
