Prima Donna Twist – I Do – 10G & S

New Brand Alert!

As you may have read in my last post, a whole new world of lingerie brands has just opened up to me.

For the first time ever I was able to shop with Brava Lingerie, whose closest store to me is over 900km away, by means of their “Zoom Fit” service.

If you’re curious about online bra fittings, watch a video of my fitting experience HERE.

One of the brands they stock that I really wanted to try was Prima Donna.

The I Do plunge longline bra comes in band sizes 10-18 with cup sizes C-G, which you will notice is a much smaller range than some of their other designs. I was fortunate enough to fit into the range, but many people will not be.

I chose the I Do plunge because it looks light & fun, also, how could I resist this red?

The whole bra is covered in this fun red lace with the cups lined by a red mesh tulle in the lower sections. Each cup is made from only 2 sections & the sizing runs small. To get a good fit I needed to go up one cup size.

The plunge is surprisingly comfortable & keeps my bust contained beautifully. I’ve always been hesitant towards plunge styles since losing a lot of volume & fullness, but in this style it works. (In moulded cup plunge bras it definitely does NOT work.)

The band is secured by 5 rows of hook & eye closures, and also has 4 panels with flexible boning. There are 2 long sections of the boning near the edge of the underwire toward the armpit & 2 short sections at the front on the band under each cup to prevent the long band from rolling. This boning is so comfortable that while wearing it, they go unnoticed. I have worn this bra a lot & haven’t experienced any digging in or the band rolling.

The matching knickers are fun, but not something I would wear daily. A little bit too cheeky for me.

While the size range is quite limited, this bra is super comfy & perfect for everyday wear.
